Pupil Voice
We have three teams of children who work on their own set of aims and objectives throughout the year, reaching out to local communities and charities and helping to make our school a happy place to be.
Young Heads
Children from Year 6 are invited to write to the Head of School to apply to be a Young Leader. As a group they help and support children to make the school a friendly and fair place where everyone feels safe, happy and secure. The young heads take part in learning walks and talk to other children about how they feel in school. The young heads are ambassadors for our school, help organise Core value activities, and help during collective worship.
School Council
School Council is made up from children from Year 2 to Year 6. Classes vote for their class mates who will represent them as the school council. The team listen to what things the children would like to improve and suggest ways to do this. They also find ways to support our local and wider community through charity and fundraising events.
House Captains
Our House Captains are pupils currently in Year 6. They represent their house through the year in sporting events and competitions, they help organise inter-house competitions and sports day. They act as playground buddies to anyone who needs a friend or some help to solve a problem. House Captains encourage every child to do their best at all times and to earn house points as a result. Every week the house captains collate the house point totals which are announced in the weekly celebration assembly. The house with the most house points each term earns a mini-treat organised by the house captains.
